Goofy Goober

Goofy Goober is a fictional character in the world of SpongeBob SquarePants. He has only appeared in The Spongebob Squarepants Movie so far. He is a goofy-looking peanut (hence goofy goober) and the mascot of a children's resturaunt called Goofy Goober's Ice Cream Party Boat .

He also has his own theme song, which goes like this:
"Oh, I'm a goofy goober, yeah
You're a goofy goober, yeah
We're all goofy goobers, yeah
Goofy goofy goober goober, yeah!"

Song (rock version)

The rock n' roll version of the song is a very popular part of the movie, has extenended lyrics, and is a remake of the 80's song "I Wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister.

"I'm goofy goober! (ROCK!)
You're a goofy goober! (ROCK!)
We're all goofy goobers! (ROCK!)
Goofy goofy, goober goober! (ROCK!)

Put your toys away,
Well all I gotta say
when you tell me not to play
I say no way! (NO!)
No no no freakin'* way!

I'm a kid you say,
when you say I'm a kid, I say "say it again!"
And then I say thanks! (THANKS!)
Thank you very much!

So if you're thinking that
you'd like to be like me,
Go ahead and try, the kid inside
will set you free!

I'm goofy goober! (ROCK!)
You're a goofy goober! (ROCK!)
We're all goofy goobers, (ROCK!)
Goofy goofy, goober goober, yeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!"

  • * - The line "no no freakin' way" appears on the movie, but is changed to "no no no no way" in the soundtrack.
