Goombario is a fictitious Goomba character from the Paper Mario universe. He is a big fan of Mario with whom he joins forces and thereby becomes a playable character. Goombario lives to the west of Toad Town along with his family and his grandparents.

Goombario has the ability to give you hints of the area, and telling you about people.

He is the first party member you get in Paper Mario, and he can attack during a battle. He is brother with Goombaria , another friendly Goomba.

Goombario is a portmanteau word between "Goomba" and "Mario".

Abilities

• Headbonk - Goombario will do a head stomp on the enemy.
• Tattle - Goombario will tell Mario about the enemy's weakness and display their health.
• Charge - Goombario will charge up and become more powerful for his next attack.
• Multibonk - Goombario will bounce off of the enemy, but only if you use the Action Command.
