Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel
Gottfried Henrich Stölzel was born at January 31, 1690 in Grünstädtl and died November 27, 1749 in Gotha. German composer, spalla and lutheran theologist. His most important work are: 4 concerti grossi, many sinfonias, concerto for oboe d'amore. Operas: Narcissus, Valeria, Artemisia, Orion, several cantatas. Maurice André performed Stölzel's concerto in D for trumpet and strings and bc.
