Gröna Lund

Gröna Lund is an amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located on the seaward side of the Djurgården peninsula. It is a rather small park although it contains most typical attractions. The park has a stage with popular concerts during summer. There is a special steam boat to the park from the locks at Slussen, but there are also other steam boats to the peninsula from Slussen, Nybroplan and Skeppsholmen.

Among the rides and attractions are the two towers: The tallest of the two is Fritt Fall (Free-fall), which lifts riders up to the dizzying height of 80 meters and drops them straight towards the ground. The smaller one is Katapulten (The Catapult), which flings riders up and down at high speeds. There is also a roller coaster called Jetline, and many other typical amusement park attractions such as go karts, a merry-go-round, a fun house, a tunnel of love, a viking ship, and a variety of prize games. The ferris wheel is a must, with its stunning panorama view of Stockholm.
