Grado Labs is a manufacturer of open-air headphones as well as record cartridges. Based in Brooklyn, NY, the company has received many awards and accolades for their headphones, which include, among others, the $69 SR-60 and $450 RS-1.

Grado has produced a distinguished series of phono cartridges for over 40 years. Many of these cartridges are eagerly sought out by audiophiles as they provide exceptional disc-playback performance and sound quality. Grado's phono cartridges are available in a wide range of prices and are often considered exceptional values in the marketplace of "high-end audio".

Curiously, the Grado brand is somewhat obscure outside the audiophile community. Over the past 40 years, Grado has undertaken very few advertising campaigns for its products and truly relied on its word-of-mouth reputation among audio dealers and consumers.
