A graph is
- In linguistics, a letter or symbol such as an alphabetic letter, a Chinese character, or a hieroglyph.
- In mathematics, the word graph can have three meanings:
- In graph theory, a graph is an abstract object consisting of vertices (or nodes) and edges (or arcs) between pairs of vertices.
- The graph of a function f : X -> Y is the set of all pairs (x,f(x))
- The graph of a relation, a generalisation of the graph of a function.
- In computer science, a graph is a data structure representing mathematical graphs.
- Graph is sometimes used (though incorrectly) as a synonym for a chart.
