Grasshopper-Club Zürich

Grasshopper-Club Zürich, also referred to as Grasshopper(s), GC Zurich, or simply GCZ, is a football club from Zurich, Switzerland.

History
GCZ is Switzerland's most famous and most successful football club, based in Zurich. It competes in the Super League.
The club was founded in September 1, 1886 by Tom E. Griffith, an English student. GCZ is well-known by many football fans in Europe with its continuous national successes and appereances in international cups. The club is also famous for its respectable youth program.
Local rival is FCZ, which was formed after a merger of different clubs ten years after GCZ.
