Greg Anthony
Greg Anthony (born November 15, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada) is a former NBA basketball player. A 6'2 point guard and defensive specialist, he played in the NBA from 1991-2002. Greg played college ball for Portland before transferring after his freshman year to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In his junior season with UNLV, the Runnin' Rebels won the 1990 NCAA Championship game over Duke. This team also included Stacey Augmon and Larry Johnson. Greg was drafted by the New York Knicks in the first round of the 1991 NBA Draft. Greg served as a backup point guard to Mark Jackson and defensive specialist for the New York Knicks until 1995, when he was picked up by the Vancouver (now Memphis) Grizzlies. After a decent career, in which Greg also played for Seattle, Portland, and Milwaukee, Greg retired in 2002. He currently serves as an NBA analyst on ESPN for their NBA broadcasts.
