Guano Apes
Guano Apes is an alternative rock quartet from Göttingen, Germany, formed in 1996. Their energetic mix of grunge and metal made them one of the biggest stars of the german rock-scene. The band's career launched after they won a local unsigned band contest called "Local Heroes", sponsored by Viva TV , with their song "Open Your Eyes" - the song which later became one of the biggest hits that year in Europe.
