HMS Camperdown
Four vessels of the British Royal Navy have been named HMS Camperdown after the Battle of Camperdown in 1797:
- The first Camperdown was a 64-gun third-rate ship of the line captured from the Dutch (who called her the Jupiter) at the Battle of Camperdown. She was sold in 1817.
- The second Camperdown was originally Trafalgar, a 106-gun first-rate launched in 1820, renamed in 1825 and sold in 1906.
- The third Camperdown, launched in 1885, was an Admiral-class battleship which sank HMS Victoria in a collision in 1893.
- The fourth Camperdown (D32), launched in 1944, was a Battle-class destroyer that served in World War II and was broken up in 1970.
