HMS Warrior
Four ships of the Royal Navy have been named HMS Warrior.
- Warrior , launched in 1781, was a third-rate ship of the line of 74 guns. She became a receiving ship after 1818, and was broken up in 1857.
- Warrior, launched in 1860, was the first ironclad ocean-going armoured battleship. She is preserved at Portsmouth.
- Warrior, launched in 1905, was an armoured cruiser. She was disabled at the battle of Jutland and foundered a day later.
- Warrior (R31), launched in 1944, was a Colossus-class light fleet aircraft carrier. She was loaned to Canada from 1946 to 1948, then sold to Argentina and renamed Independencia in 1958.
- As of 2004, HMS Warrior is the operational headquarters of the Royal Navy at Northwood near London.
