Haikou
Haikou (), situated at the north of Hainan island, is the capital of the so-called economically booming Hainan Province of the People's Republic of China. The economic development here is not impressive for all of the habitants, especially those came from the mainland China.
Geography
Location: located between 19.57 - 20.05 north latitude and 110.10 - 110.23 east longitude in the southernmost part of China; in an area that reaches from Zengmu Ansha in the south to the Qiongzhou Straits in the north; bordering the sea areas of the South China Sea and facing Vietnam in the west across Beibu Bay.

Economy
The GDP per capita was ¥23920 (ca. US$2890) in 2003, ranked no. 43 among 659 Chinese cities.
Tourism
Great place for family vacations, there are plenty of rains and sunshine, with the sea and beach, you got lots of fun there and cheap price is also a enormous temptation for all the tourists as well.
