Hannah and Her Sisters

Hannah and Her Sisters is a 1986 romantic comedy film which tells the story of a large, troubled family, all of whose demons begin to erupt during a family Thanksgiving dinner. It stars Barbara Hershey, Carrie Fisher, Michael Caine, Mia Farrow, Dianne Wiest, Maureen O'Sullivan, Lloyd Nolan , Max von Sydow, Woody Allen, Daniel Stern, Julie Kavner, Joanna Gleason and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

The movie was written and directed by Woody Allen.

Awards and nominations

It won Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Michael Caine), Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Dianne Wiest) and Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen. It was nominated for Best Art Direction-Set Decoration, Best Director, Best Film Editing and Best Picture.
