Hans Abrahamsen
Hans Abrahamsen is a composer born in Copenhagen, Denmark, on December 23rd, 1952.
Abrahamsen got in touch with music when he started playing french horn in school. He later went on to study Music Theory at the Royal Danish Academy of Music . He now inspires his music from his mentors Per Nørgård and Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen which were two of his composition tutors. He is also part of a trend that is called "New Simplicity " that became popular in the mid 60s.
