Hardcore Dancing
Hardcore Dancing is an activity performed in a mosh pit. It involves flailing the arms, two-stepping and moving your body in a violent motion with the music playing.
Hardcore Dancing, hence the name, is generally only practiced at metalcore shows. The ratio of dancers to moshers is the deciding factor that dictates whether you are allowed to dance or not. Usually, at metal/punk/rock concerts, there will be a very small amount of hardcore dancers, so if you try and dance, the moshers will push you over/knock you out. However, at metalcore shows, there are usually more dancers then moshers, and so moshers do not mosh and leave the dancers in the clearing that was once the mosh pit.
