About Harry Potter Role Playing Games
Harry Potter RPGs (Role Playing Games) have become extremely popular with the explosion of the Harry Potter fad. There are several ways that Harry Potter RPGs can be played, but the most popular one is that which is played on message boards. One person writes part of the story, writing what their character does, then the second person responds to the first, and so forth. Whilst they can become very addicted, they seem to be a great way to improve creativity, spelling and grammar.
Tips for Harry Potter Roleplaying
Tips for Roleplaying - Don't godmode characters that don't belong to you. People get very offended when you say their characters do things they don't want them to. - Be reasonable when making a character. If EVERYONE becomes an animagi, then it's hardly realistic. - Try and use your best spelling and grammar. Other people will need to read your posts in order to respond to it and it's best if it makes sense.
An Example of Role-Playing
Harry Potter: Harry stomped his way upstairs to the common room and threw his broom on the ground. The Slytherin Quidditch team had stolen the pitch from them again and Harry was angry. Very angry. Hermione Granger: Hermione had been reading a book about necromancy when she looked up in alarm at Harry's obvious foul temper. "What's wrong with you now?" she asked Harry, "I thought you had training?" Harry Potter: "It looks like Slytherin's trying to make a head start to the year as well" snarled Harry "Because once again they've stolen our pitch time. Ron's just as mad because he wanted more keep practice."
