Hawaiian religion
The Hawaiian religion is a form of the Polynesian mythology as originally followed by inhabitants of the islands of Hawaii.
It has four Hawaiian Gods who existed before the world was created:
- Lono-i-ka-makahiki ie: Lono is a fertility and music god who descended to Earth on a rainbow to marry Laka.
- Papa is the mother Earth, wife of the sky god, Rangi, who, as a giant bird, laid an egg which became the island Hawaii. Vatea (her husband) and Papa then lived there as the first man and woman.
