Hayt

Hayt is a fictional character featured in the Dune series by Frank Herbert.

Hayt was the ghola of Duncan Idaho, made by the Bene Tleilax and trained in mentat skills and Zensunni philosophy. He was given the purpose of destroying Paul Atreides and was also the subject of a Tleilaxu experiment to see if a ghola can regain the memories of its former self. Hayt was given to Paul Atreides and when ordered to perform an act that would destroy him, faced so great an internal conflict that he remembered his life as Duncan Idaho. He later married Alia Atreides.
