Heinz Chur
Heinz Chur (born September 24, 1948) is a German composer of new classical music.

Life
Chur was born in Essen, Germany and began to compose at an early age. Since his Symphony No. 1 (1975 - 1978), he has devoted his work to creating powerful, unconventional and emotional music with fresh, new tonal character. Chur is a member of the Group of German Composers (Deutscher Komponistenverband). He lives in Essen with his wife, Christina.
