Helter Skelter (movie)

Helter Skelter was initially a book by prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi. It was made into a film in 1976. In the United States, it was spread over two nights on television. In some countries it was shown in theaters with additional footage (nudity and more violent). There is also a 2004 made-for-TV re-make.

The 1976 film stars Steve Railsback as Manson while the 2004 version has Jeremy Davies.

The movie is based upon the murders by the Charles Manson Family. The most well-known victim was actress Sharon Tate. The term "helter skelter" was taken from the Beatles' song of the same name. Manson used the term for an anticipated race war.
