Henri Herz
Henri Herz (January 6, 1803–January 5, 1888) was an Austrian pianist and composer.
Herz was born in Vienna and as a child studied with his father and Daniel Hünten. In 1816 he entered the Paris Conservatoire, where he studied under Victor Dourlen and Antonín Reicha .
Herz traveled worldwide, including tours in Europe, Russia, and the United States of America. He wrote a book about his experiences abroad, My Travels in America.
