Henschel Hs 123
The Henschel Hs 123 was a single seat biplane close-support attack aircraft flown by the Luftwaffe during the Spanish Civil War and the early part of World War II. By 1944 the last examples were withdrawn from service.
The aircraft was extremely rugged and a highly adapt close support aircraft. It was powered by an 880 hp (656 kW) radial engine, and was armed with twin MG 17 machine guns and either four bombs or two 20 mm cannons.
