Heroes Reborn is the name of several comic book mini-series and one-shots published by Marvel Comics after the Onslaught megacrossover.

Following the apparent "deaths" of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four during the Onslaught affair, their series were restarted from #1, telling their adventures anew for modern generations. It would eventually be revealed that they had been transported into a pocket universe by Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman's son, Franklin, to save them, where they lived their lives again in new, different ways, oblivious of their past.

For this reworking, Marvel "farmed out" the properties to some of their former employees who had left the company to form Image Comics; Jim Lee's studios handled Fantastic Four and Iron Man, while Rob Liefeld took the reins of Avengers and Captain America. However, after six issues, Liefeld was not pulling his weight, and his titles were given to Lee, where they finished their runs. Overall, Fantastic Four was considered to be the best of the series, with Iron Man coming in second. Captain America was a critical disaster, and while "Avengers" performed poorly with fans for Liefeld's issues, Walter Simonson took over the book when it moved to Lee's studios, and produced a decent conclusion. Despite being mostly critically lambasted and considered by most fans to have been a terrible idea (some fans have semi-seriously blamed Liefeld's Captain America for the death of Mark Gruenwald), Heroes Reborn was still an unqualified financial success.
