Hipcrime
Hipcrime (the action) was a way of superceding posts to USENET. The general idea was to issue a forged cancel message using the message headers of the target, and then to re-issue the message (forged) with your own content.
In this way, one could put forth any inane posts and have them attributed to a different source.
