Hocotate

Hocotate is a fictional planet in the video game series Pikmin. Although never actually seen in the series, Hocotate is often spoke of, as it is the planet from which Captain Olimar, the star of the game, and Louie, his sidekick, came from. It is also the home of the Hocotate Freight President and the Hocotate Freight company for which Captain Olimar works for.

Hocotate has two sets of rings circling it, that, when looked at from a certain perspective, look like the letter X.

The residents of Hocotate are all very tiny, each standing at only an inch tall, looking quite simular to Captain Olimar. They also have an interesting sense of value compared to humans, as they sent an expedition to Earth to gather common junk, such as bottle caps and old batteries, which are worth a lot on Hocotate. The currency of Hocotate is called "Pokos".
