Howard Martin Temin
Howard Martin Temin (1934 - 1994) was a U.S. geneticist. He discovered reverse transcriptase. He won a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1975 for describing how tumour viruses act on the genetical material of the cell. He graduated from Swarthmore College.
