Hugo Viana
Hugo Viana (born January 15, 1983 in Barcelos) is a Portuguese football player. He plays for both the national team and Sporting Club Portugal team, in the Portuguese SuperLiga.
He plays as a midfielder, both as an offensive and on the side of the pitch. His most known caracteristic is the dominant foot, the left one. Hugo Viana has a terrific foot, and he is known for his well pointed shots and free-kicks. He was formed on the Sporting Club Portugal and ended by going to England's Newcastle United. He played there for two seasons and then came back to Sporting on loan.
Hugo Viana was a non-playing squad member for Portugal at the 2002 World Cup and played for his country at the 2004 Olympics. He returned to the National Team after Euro 2004.
