Hung Hom

Hung Hom (紅磡) is an area of Kowloon, in Hong Kong, part of the Kowloon City district. It is located nearby to Tsim Sha Tsui. The north part of the district is mainly for residential purposes and is mixed with some industrial buildings. The south part is a residential area, nearby the Victoria Harbour. The Hung Hom Bay was reclaimed.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Whampoa Garden are located in Hung Hom.

Transportation

Hung Hom is also the name of the KCR (Kowloon-Canton Railway) main terminal situated on the east side of the Kowloon peninsula.

Whampoa station of MTR Kwun Tong Line is proposed.

Ferries connect Hung Hom to Central, Wan Chai and North Point.
