Hutatma Chowk
Hutatma Chowk is a square in south Mumbai, formerly known as Flora Fountain, where in 1960 peaceful agitators of the Samyukta Maharashtra Samiti were fired upon by police. This action led to the creation of Maharashtra as a separate state out of Bombay state.
