I'm All Right, Jack
Although a Boulting Brothers' comedy I'm All Right, Jack is an instructive view of labour relations in Post-WW2 England. It is a satire in which the bone-headed bosses are outsmarted by the Trade Union shop steward Fred Kite, one of Peter Sellers' best roles, that won him a Best Actor Award from the British Academy.
The rest of the case reads as a Who's Who of English comedy actors of 1959 led by:
- Ian Carmichael
- Terry-Thomas
- Richard Attenborough
- Dennis Price
- Margaret Rutherford
- Irene Handl
- Liz Fraser
- Miles Malleson
In addition, Malcolm Muggeridge appears as himself, as does television announcer Muriel Young .
