Ichigo Momomiya

Ichigo Momomiya (桃宮いちご Momomiya Ichigo), known as Zoey Hanson in the English anime, is a 12 year old girl who is the main character of the manga and anime series Tokyo Mew Mew (Mew Mew Power). Her name is Japanese for "strawberry".

After she got her genes fused with an iriomote cat, she became the crime fighting heroine known as Mew Ichigo (although she mainly fights aliens in the manga). She has a crush on a boy named Masaya Aoyama (Mark) and she has a habit of freaking out. When she gets nervous or scared, her cat ears starts popping out and if she gets kissed, she becomes a cat and can only turn back into a human if she kisses someone.

Aside from the Mew Mews and the main characters, Ichigo has two friends, Moe Yanagida (Meghan) and Miwa Honjo (Mimi).
