Imperial

Imperial is a term that is used to describe something that relates to an Empire, Emperor, or the concept of Imperialism.

Imperial is also the name of several places in the United States of America:

Imperial units are the measurement units that were generally used in the British Commonwealth countries in the past.

Imperial is a shorthand name for Imperial College London, a prestigious science-based university in Britain ranked 3rd after Oxford and Cambridge in the UK by many university league tables.

Imperial was the Chrysler Corporation's luxury brand between 1955 and 1975 (and briefly in 1981-1983). Before 1955, the Chrysler Imperial was the company's most prestigious model.

Imperial staircases have a central first flight of stairs reaching a landing and then dividing into two flights which go up to the next floor by running in the opposite direction to the first flight, usually along the walls of the room.

"Imperial" also refers the forces of the fictional Galactic Empire in the Star Wars universe.
