Incorporation

Incorporation is:
- In business, incorporation is the creation of a corporation.
- In law, incorporation is the process by which the United States Bill of Rights was applied to the laws of individual states.
- In local government, municipalities such as cities, towns, townships, villages, and boroughs are considered incorporated when they are self-governing entities under the laws of the state or province in which they are located.
- In linguistics, incorporation is a phenomenon by which a word, usually a verb, forms a kind of compound with, for instance, its direct object or adverbial modifier, while retaining its original syntactic function.
