The Infinite Empire is a fictional political entity from the Star Wars universe video game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003).

The Infinite Empire was a space empire created by the Rakata, expanding over a peroid of 20,000 years. The Rakata built their empire many thousands of years before the establishment of the Galactic Republic. The Rakata were a scientifically advanced species that used their knowledge to conquer and enslave other species throughout the galaxy. At its height, the Infinite Empire consisted of more than 500 subject worlds with a population of ten billion Rakata and one trillion non-Rakata slaves.

Some of the Infinite Empire's achievements include terraforming machinery, semi-sentient star maps and computers, and the transmogrifying Star Forge. Among its many crimes were those of aggressive war, slavery, and the destruction of the climate of the planet Tatooine, which became a desert after being bombarded by the Rakata.

The Infinite Empire collapsed due to both a long civil war and a virulent plague that affected only the Rakata some 28,000 years prior to the Battle of Yavin.
