Isabella Rigney
Isabella Rigney, an Australian pioneer, born in Poland on the 22nd February 1942 is an acclaimed Opal Miner of Australia.
For the past 40 years she has devoted her life to Opals, a truly amazing woman whom is barely 5ft, yet she has battled the Australian outback, with a speciality in open cut mining and Queensland boulder Opal, Isabella has brought to the world some of the most beautiful Opal the world has ever seen.
Isabella has found some of the most unique of Opals, from Opalized Tree's millions of years old to Opalized skulls of Kangaroo's.
She has owned more Opal mines and discovered more new Opal terretories than anyone else in the world, even today she still works the mines in 100 degree temperatures, still bringing us more and more of the most captivating Opal in the world.
