István Horthy
István Horthy (September 12, 1904–August 20, 1942) was a politician and fighter pilot from Hungary during World War II. He was appointed Deputy Regent of Hungary in January 1942 by his father, Regent Admiral Miklós Horthy. Horthy continued to serve in the Hungarian Air Force. He was killed in an airplane crash on a combat mission on the Russian front.
