Iván Zamorano

Iván Luis Zamorano Zamora (born January 18, 1967), often nicknamed Bam Bam (after The Flintstones character) and Iván el Terrible (Ivan the Terrible), was an association football player from Chile who played internationally in clubs like Sevilla FC and Real Madrid (Spain), Internazionale (Italy) and Club América (Mexico).

In 1995 Zamorano's playing skills made Real Madrid champion of the Spanish League, and for his 27 goals in the season he was awarded with the Pichichi as top scorer.

Zamorano retired from competition in late 2003, after a career spanning more than 16 years. For Chile, Zamorano played 69 times, scoring 34 goals. He played for his country at the 1998 World Cup.

In 2004, Zamorano was selected among the FIFA 100 best living soccer players in the world, a list compiled by soccer virtuoso Pelé.

Zamorano is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to Chile.
