Ivan Doroschuk

Ivan Doroschuk, also known by the artist name of Ivan, was born in Illinois, USA and at a young age he and his family moved Canada, setting in the city of Montreal, Quebec.

In high school, in the mid-seventies, Ivan and his brothers: Colin and Stefan formed a band called Wave 21. Once out of high school they changed the name to Men Without Hats. Over the next few years the band lineup changed around but Ivan was always present as the lead singer of the band. From 1980 to 1991 Ivan released seven albums with the Men Without Hats. In 1991 the band broke up and Ivan released a solo album: The Spell. In 2003 Men Without Hats got together and released their newest album: No Hats Beyond This Point.
