Jörg Fauser

Jörg Fauser (* Juli 16, 1944 - Juli 17, 1987 in München) German writer, poet and journalist who was born in Bad Schwalbach (Germany) and died in München.

The influence of American beat generation literature on his works is well known. His later works are mostly German detective stories. "Der Schneemann" has been made into a movie. He died in a truck accident.
