Jack Black in Shallow Hal
Jack Black (born August 28, 1969) is a film and television actor and musician. He was born in Hermosa Beach, California and attended the University of California, Los Angeles but never graduated. He also had recurring roles on the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show. He will star in the movie remake of King Kong by Peter Jackson in 2005 as Carl Denham.
He is the lead singer for the band Tenacious D.
The Internet Movie Database gives his real name as Thomas Black.
