Jacob Ammen
General Jacob Ammen (7 January 1808 – 6 February 1894) was an officer in the United States Army during the American Civil War. His younger brother, Daniel Ammen, was an admiral in the United States Navy.
Born in Virginia, Ammen was a graduate of West Point, where he was later an instructor.
He commanded Camp Dennison in Ohio.
