Jacques Lemercier
Jacques Lemercier (c.1585 - 1654) was a French Renaissance architect.
He built many churches for the Jesuits. Lemercier built Cardinal Richelieu's residence in Paris (which was later transformed into the Palais Royal), as well as the entire town of Richelieu , in the Indre-et-Loire département of central France.
