Jaime Lucas Cardinal Ortega y Alamino
Jaime Lucas Cardinal Ortega y Alamino (born October 18, 1938) is the Archbishop of San Cristóbal de la Havana. He was named Bishop of Pinar del Río in western Cuba by Pope John Paul II in 1978 who later promoted him to Archbishop of Havana in 1981. He was proclaimed Cardinal on November 26, 1994 and is therefore a member of the College of Cardinals and participates in Papal elections.
