James Kidd Flemming

James Kidd Flemming (April 27, 1868-February 10, 1927) was a New Brunswick businessman and politician.

Flemming was a lumberman before entering politics and serving as Provincial Secretary in the government of John Douglas Hazen. He succeeded Hazen as the Conservative Premier in 1911 but was forced to resign in 1914 after he was found guilty of fund raising irregularities.

Nevertheless, Flemming remained popular and won a seat in the Canadian House of Commons in the 1925 Canadian election and again in 1926 but died in 1927 before he was able to make much of an impact in Ottawa.
