Jason Weaver
Jason Weaver (born July 18 1979 in Chicago, Illinois) is an African American actor and singer. He has been a cast member of the television sitcoms Thea (1993 - 1994) and Smart Guy (1997 - 1999), and has appeared in the films Summertime Switch (a 1994 telefilm) with Rider Strong, and Drumline (2003) with Nick Cannon.
Weaver is also a recording artist, and has released his own albums. His collaboration with Chingy, 2003's "One Call Away", was a Top 5 hit single in the United States. Some of Weaver's most notable acting roles have also involved music: he played Jackson 5-era Michael Jackson in the 1992 miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream, and was the singing voice of Young Simba in Disney's 1994 blockbuster The Lion King.
