Jedediah Chapman

Jedediah Chapman (d. July 2, 1863) was a United States Civil War officer in the Union Army. He served as a Captain in the 27th Connecticut Volunteer Infantry, and was killed in the Wheatfield at the Battle of Gettysburg. There is a marker where he fell: he is interred in the Grove Street Cemetery, New Haven, Connecticut.
