Jets to Brazil

Jets to Brazil is a musical band.

Formation

Blake Schwarzenbach , frontman of Jawbreaker, found himself in Brooklyn, New York after a discouraging break up of the band. There he reunited with a friend, Jeremy Chatelain , whom he met at his last show. Jeremy was also involved in a break up with his band, Handsome . They formed a duo and were four-tracking using drum machines until they asked Chris Daly , who was the previous drummer for Texas is the Reason to join. Daly created the name "Jets to Brazil" and the band joined Jade Tree Records.

There they created their first album, Orange Rhyming Dictionary . It was highly anticipated since listeners had high expectations for this new band. The band satisfied its listeners and came out with two other records.

Later albums

Four Cornered Night is the band's second album which introduces the fourth member of the band, former Van Pelt guitarist Brian Maryansky . In 2002, Jets to Brazil came out with their third and last album, Perfecting Loneliness .
