Jock River
The Jock River is a tributary of the Rideau River, named after Jacques, a man who drowned in it in the early 19th century. It originates south of Franktown, Ontario , in the Goodwood Marsh , and follows a winding path 72 kilometers east to empty into the Rideau River north of Manotick , in Ottawa, Ontario. The Jock River watershed drains 551 square kilometers of land.
