Jodie Abigail Landon, better known plainly as Jodie Landon, is a cartoon character in the MTV television show, "Daria". Landon dates football player Michael McKienze . She first appeared on a chapter named "The Invitation".

Landon lives in the ficticious town of Lawndale. She is an intellectual girl, and she is bound for an important university; however, she is the kind of teenager who feels pressure from her parents to do well in school.

An African American, Landon is one of a few Black students that can be seen at "Daria"s new school. Unlike many teenaged female Black television characters (both cartoon and real actor characters), Landon is not a member of a group of popular girls, she is a rather lonely girl who mantains a casual friendship both with Daria and with Daria's best friend, Jane. Landon sometimes looks for Daria to ask her a question or an opinion on something.

Landon is involved in some extracurricular events as well, and she has some alter ego personalities. She is a singer and musician in a rock music band, and she is an amateur fashion model who has appeared in school and amateur fashion shows.

The president of various school clubs, Landon sees herself as a future leader of the American Black society. Being one of the few Black students in her school inspires her to be aware of Black issues.

She discovered in high school that she shared something with her father: their passion for food. Her father is the owner and chef of a local restaurant, and, while taking cooking class, Landon began to enjoy cooking herself. She is said to be a talented cook.
