John Cruger, Jr.
John Cruger (July 18, 1710– December 27, 1791) was an American merchant who was an important business and political leader in New York City at the time of the Revolutionary War. Her served as Mayor of New York from 1757 to 1766 and was the Speaker of the Assembly of colonial New York from 1769 to 1775.
